Active Directory......
I removed a user from active directory....now when someone replies to certain meeting requests we are getting bounce backs from this person. Also, bounce backs from two other people who still work for the company. I re-added that person back in active directory and everything is fine again. Anyone ever seen anything like this? Thanx! -Brian-

Check to see if the removed user was configured as a delegate for someone else's mailbox. This can cause the problem you describe.Tony

A delegate....where would you check for that?

You can do it via the UI, but I don't know what version of Exchange you have. There are other ways. One would be to use ADSIEdit.msc to look for the presence of the publicDelegates and/or publicDelegatesBL attribute values on the user object. Here's another method using LDIFDEhttp://www.petri.co.il/finding_delegates_in_active_directory.htmTony
