After a conversion using VMware Converter 4 to a VMware Vsphere 4.0 update1 server, the SBS server requires re-activation. I am setting this up as a disaster recovery scenario. I have done some reading and found that the issue may be related to an OEM licensing issue. I have gotten no help from Microsoft licensing, so I am posting the question here. Is there a way that I can get this server to activate? I would like to be able to see the server up and running in a test environment before I disable the old key. Can anyone shed some light?

I've activated SBS 2003 after restore all the time.Try merely letting it activate over the web, if that doesn't work, use the telephone option.
