After installing the Beta 3 OS, I cannot seem to activate. The guys (took three people to tell me) at Microsoft say that they can't help me because it's still in testing mode, and they told me to look on the forums for help, so...here I am, lol. I have a genuine key, and it verifies fine, but the confirmation numbers that they give me (many times) won't go through. Has anyone else had this problem?Thanks!-Chris

From the command prompt please run Slmgr -ato and post the error code.

Also have you tried activating over the phone?? MK

No seriously. You called them to activate. Gave them the activation codes, they gave you the activation key and it didnt work?

Yeah, thats what happened. Went up a few levels after a couple keys didn't work, then they asked if i was a developer or part of a beta test program. Since I'm not either, I said no, and they told me, "well, then we can't help you. good luck getting it to work"...not verbatim, but thats the idea. -Chris
