Access to folder in a cluster w208 R2 from Apple computers
Hi
I have a domain in W2000 mixed with 2 servers 2003 enteprise with clustering (these 2 servers are NOT dc's). The DC's are Windows 2000 Server. Actually wintel and mac computers can access to shared folder without problems.
I want to migrate the 2 servers with 2 new computers with 2008 R2. I've created a cluster and I have a lot of problems with NFS server to connect my apple computers.
I've read in 2008R2 there are changes in SMB. Can I have a NFS Server in a cluster 2008 R2 with a 2000 mixed domain?
thanks in advance

Hi
Javier,
Please first try to ensure Win2008 R2 NFS server without cluster could
connect to
your apple computers.
1. Services for NFS should be installed. See this article for detailed steps:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc753302(WS.10).aspx
2. Please ensure your Mac system settings
are normal.
General steps can be found in these articles:

If Mac system couldn’t
connect to the
NFS server, please provide the error prompt and the
event log.
