A kernel file
Dear all: I have a server running Windows 2003 Server Enterprise Edition which I access remotely. After logging off my remote session, I later tried to reconnect to the server remotely but to no avail. When I visited the server room to have a look at the server, I got the the below message: A kernel file is missing from the disk. Insert a system diskette and restart the system In other to resolve this problem, I booted from the from the Windows 2003 operating system cd and tried to repair but it didn't work. I later on ran this command: chkdsk /r /f which after running still give the below output: A kernel file is missing from the disk. Insert a system diskette and restart the system Can anyone help me on this?
