Hi,I have network desktops and Laptops where I work. We are planning to rollout AV in my work place. Is there a way to uninstall the old Anti Virus and install the new Anti Virus through Group Policy in Windows Server 2003.Thanks

Hi,I suppose you are running windows server 2003? If you still have the package with the old AV you can uninstall it using the group policy.Look at these instructions: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/816102/en-us

Thanks for that, however, the main problem about uninstalling it through Group Policy is that the old Anti Virus is password protected. Is their a way to still uninstall it through Group Policyon all desktop and laptopseven though it is password protected.

AFAIK, you can uninstall software which was installed by group policy if you have the package with the old AV.But, if it is password protected, it can't be uninstalled by group policy.
