ASR Hyper-v (VMM) to Azure and we are stuck with this error while preparing the VMM Server

We are stuck with this error while installing ASR provider and registering with Azure Vault, can i get some help on this

Error:

NO Vaults could be retried for the registration key. Please ensure that
1, your registration key has not expired.You can re-downloading registration key from Azure site Recovery portal
2, Your system clock is not out of sync with the selected system time zone

System Clock is set to IST and Azure to southeastasia

Hi,

Could you please ensure that you have downloaded the latest registration key from the portal?

Also ensure that the machine from where you are accessing the portal and the VMM server has the right time according to your time zone.

1, Yes the Registration Key is the latest, we  tried out with 2 different subscription but the same error.

2, The VMM server time Zone is IST India and the vault is set to East Asia and i connected to the portal from the VMM server itself.

Any other criteria to be considered.

I have exactly the same problem, my GMT zone is (UTC) London, Lisbon and Azure Site Recovery created in Western Europe. What did you do to solve the problem?

I tried to download the file using powershell script, but get the same ERROR.

Thank you for your quick reply.
I checked this issue, but in reality my current time(UTC) will never be the same of  Microsoft data center in Amsterdam.
It is because of the time diference? The solution is to create the ASR in northern Europe instead of Western Europe?

I will make some tests.

Hi Anoop KV,

I can't solve this problem.
If you check the server starts the log with the correct time, (7/22/2015 T17:19:20.0193365 + 00:00 Always: Trace Session Started), but in the second row the registration is already as 05:19.

I checked other logs, windowsupdates.log and apparently the time is right.

The hour mistake only happens with the VMMASRProvider_x64.exe file.

Keyboard settings/region: Format: English (United States) Date and time formats: with H (17:30) Location: Portugal Language for non-Unicode programs: English (United States)

Do you have any idea to work around the problem?

More information !!!!

in VMMASRProvider_x64.exe installation are created two log files (and DRASetupWizard.log VmmDRAdapter.log) in the directory "C:\ProgramData\VMMLogs\DRALogs" where one has the correct formatting of the date (VmmDRAdapter.log) and other non (DRASetupWizard.log).

No one else had this problem? Apparently it seems to be originated on how the installation file (VMMASRProvider_x64.exe) processes the validation of the registration key.

Thanks Moreiera for contacting us directly. Over our emails conversations we were able to diagnose the issue - the problem was the time on the server was not in sync with the Global Time. We fixed the time on the server and the issue is now resolved.
