AS2 Receive on BizTalk servers which are not exposed to internet

Hi,

I'm currently doing a POC on how to receive EDI messages over AS2. Our BizTalk servers are not directly exposed to internet for receiving purposes. Could you provide some suggestions on how to implement this?

Thanks,

Peter

Ideally, you don't have to do anything provided the (reverse) Proxies are setup correctly.  At the network level, AS2 is just HTTPS.

So, if you can make an inbound HTTPS connection, you're 90% of the way there.

Hi,

We have achived this as mentioned below..All our BizTalk servers don't have internet connectivity.

1.Open specific ports to the external world on the network firewall to a specific URL and port number

2.For all file transfers from out side we have used another web based SFTP service(Go Anywhere). This GA SFTP service is configure with external connevity and all the files will be recieved on to this server and then later BizTalk polls these files using SFTP adapter

3. Using a proxy

Cheers

BizTalk setup always remain on to the premise zone within your intranet network . Internet expose in not the best way to expose your integration layer to outside work .

Either you can work ahead with reverse proxy setting with IIS call or you can have VPN tunnel to and from  BizTalk for secured file transfer .

Thanks
