AD RMS, Client still pointing to the old Cluster URL after reinstalling the AD RMS and using a new URL for the cluster
Hi experts: I am having problems using AD RMS on Windows 7 Client. On Windows Server 2008 R2 I had a working AD RMS. Clients could connect to the server without a problem. After removing the ADRMS Service and reinstalling it (for testing purposes) I decided to give the cluster a different name:(instead of https://adrms.contoso.com , I used https://rms.contoso.com . I created a new Certificate and installed it on the ADRMS Server. The installation went smoothly. But when I restrict office documents and try to open them from a Windows 7 Client using a standard users, I receive the error message in this printscreen: when I click on OK I receive this error message: https://adrms.contoso.com should be replaced by the new URL https://rms.contoso.com . I already unregistered and re-registered the SCP from ADDS using the ADRMS Server Name>properties> SCP Tab, but this did not help. I hope someone can help me troubleshooting this. thank you in advance
