Hello, I have a general dought: what are the possibility for AD corruption and what is the best option to recover... Where in my working environment we have one additional domain controller in each site..We are facing some corruption on the AD. What is the best option 1) Do a fresh installation and promotion of AD, happen a normal replication 2) Restore from backup and force the replication 3) Forcelly domote the server and re-promote the AD Replys are appreciated.

The best option is to restore from backup / if you have a complete DC force the replication without restoring. You need to find the reason to why it gets corrupt from the beginning, Sonar and FRSMon could help you look over your replication. If you're running Windows 2008 you could replicate with DFS instead of NTFRS which could help depending on the source of your problem.

How sonar and FRSMon could help me to overcome the replication..Could u please explain it...
