ADPlus problem
I'm having some issues getting ADPlus to follow a process so that we can get some crash dumps.
If I log in as user X who is a local administrator, I can run ADPlus to follow a process that is running under my name. However, if I do a 'runas' and start notepad, for example, as user Y, then it won't work. It also won't hook into other processes running
as system or local service.
Additionally, the one service we need to track is running with user account Z. If I log onto the machine with user account Z, then this process is not visible in task manager until I click on 'show processes from all users'. Then it is visible, though with
user Zs user name attached.
I have also tested this, and am able to reproduce it on a Windows 2008 32 bit machine, and a Windows 2008 R2 60 bit machine.
My questions are: What is stopping me following this process? And why are some of the user's processes only visible after clicking on 'show all users processes'?
thanks for any hints, tips and ideas.

Hello,
ADPlus is provided via Microsoft PSS and as it is mostly command based the better option is to use the MSDN forum instead. Additional you should talk to your PSS consultatn from Microsoft about this.
