ADMT - migration would simply fail
Hi all I have been migrating users from 2003 to 2008 R2 cross forest. ADMT does not work good in my opnion as i would do a migration - it would then fail. I will then logg off the server and back on and the same migration with the same settings would go through. I now struggle with one specific user. I will post the log below and would apprecaiet any help greatly: [Settings Section] Task: User Migration (43) ADMT Console User: target domain\my domain admin ID Computer: member server with ADMT on Domain: target domain OS: Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard 6.1 (7601) Service Pack 1 Source Domain Name: source domain DC: source domain dc OS: Windows Server 2003 5.2 (3790) Service Pack 2 OU: Target Domain Name: target domain DC: DC in target domain OS: Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard 6.1 (7601) Service Pack 1 OU: OU where user should go to Intra-Forest: No Password Option: Copy passwords, only for new objects = No Password Export Server: DC source domain Migrate Security Identifiers: Yes Update Rights: Yes Translate Roaming Profiles: No Fix group membership: Yes Conflict Option: Merge, rights = No, members = No, move objects = Yes Source Disable Option: Leave source account Source Expiration: Do not expire source account Target Disable Option: Set target same as source Migrate groups: Yes Update Migrated Objects: Yes Migrate service accounts: Yes [Object Migration Section] 2011-11-10 07:49:01 Starting Account Replicator. 2011-11-10 07:49:19 CN=user to be migrated - Created 2011-11-10 07:49:19 ERR2:7430 SID History for <migrated user> cannot be updated because auditing is not enabled on target domain. rc=8536.\n This operation requires that auditing be enabled for Success and Failure auditing of account management operations. 2011-11-10 07:49:19 WRN1:7392 SIDHistory could not be updated due to a configuration or permissions problem. I will try that also - just sometimes responses are a bit slow in that forum and because this is a general forum i thought people would have experience doing migrations in here too
