ADFS and AAM's keeps creating problems for Search. Works on server but keep getting Windows Security Dialog on users clients

Our company has a webapplication set up with Claims-base authentication. An AAM has been set up with https://domainternal.****.com using the Intranet zone. Here the authentication is set up as Windows Auth/NTLM.

First the search didn't return any results, but after I set up Server Name Mapping in the Search Service Application with index as the internal domain and display as the userfacing address https://domain****.com, the search returned the desired results on the webserver where I am accessing the webapplication on the internal address.

However on a users client, the search seems to work fine, but it keeps popping up with a Windows Security dialog asking me if I want to complete the action by ctrl-alt-delete......

If I chose to do this, a log-on appears with the internal domain address, however users are accessing the site through Claims-based. How can I get the Search to "behave" correct in this scenario??

I need all the help I can get here. Thanks in advance
