We are looking at using a combination of ADFS 2.0 and UAG to securely publish a few resources to outside companies. I have been researching both technologies to great length and look forward to moving forward. However, just want to confim some components/terms that I am a little confused about. 1.) Resource Partners and Account Partners I was under the impression, after reading some articles on Technet, that a Resource Partner would be, say a web service that would be access by the Account Partner. So, if my company was going to host say sharepoint, to be shared with a Outside Company, the way I understand it is: We would be the "Resource Partner" and the outside company would be the "Account Partner". The Federation trust would flow from "Resource Partner" to "Account Partner". Is that correct? I ask because I was reading this article today: http://blogs.technet.com/b/edgeaccessblog/archive/2010/04/14/forefront-uag-and-adfs-better-together.aspx And it appeared it was the opposite of my understanding.
