Hi, I am planning an upgrade for a client that will involve putting in 2 new 2012 Domain Controllers, then after transfering all the fsmo roles and such, I will demote the old 2003 Domain controllers. I just wanted to confirm from a compatibility standpoint if its ok to raise the domain function level to 2012, or should I only raise it to 2008, or keep it at 2003. I will still have XP client pc's for about another 8 to 10 months. As far as what I read raising the domain function level should not hurt anything with xp, if anything it should give me more features. I just wanted to confirm that is right? Thanks Mike
