2008 foundation limitations

Does foundation edition limits concurrent web connections ?

I want to install an application server and I wonder if going with 2008 Foundation Edition will limit client requests to future web services applications.

I read for example that it has "5 Limited to 50 RRAS connections, 10 IAS connections." .. what does it mean ?

Can you help me ? Is it safe to assume unlimited IIS connections purchasing Foundation Edition ?

Thanks.

Hi Fabri,

Network access connections (RRAS) - The Routing and Remote Access service (RRAS) in Windows Server 2008 supports remote user or site-to-site connectivity by using virtual private networking (VPN) or dial-up connections. Windows Server 2008 Foundation supports a maximum of 50 RRAS connections.

I donot think there is any limitation on IIS connections.

You can check these article.

Thanks.

The above Microsoft link quoted is now a 404 (sure wish MS would have learned years ago about page redirects since they built it into the OS starting with 2008 bu hey) the following link may be of some help, although it does NOT give a specific answer to your question it may answer any other limitation queries you have.
