2008 Server NAP Requirements
I have looked but have not found an answer to this question and hope someone can assist. When implementing NAP within a clients server environment do all Windows servers have to be upgraded to 2008 or can just a few 2008 servers be installed to provide NAP services for the overall environment? Thanks,

Hello, If youd like to deploy NAP, at least one Windows Server 2008 with Network Policy and Access Services server role installed is necessary. NAP clients must run Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, or Windows XP with Service Pack 3. However, you dont need to upgrade all Windows Servers to Windows Server 2008. For the computer clients which dont support NAP, you could choose to exempt these computer clients from health policy requirements. For more information about NAP, please refer to: Network Access Protection: Frequently Asked Questions Introduction to Network Access Protection I hope this helps. Regards, Neo Zhu
