2008 SP2 startup error
Error: Can't create file (32) This happened after I installed Optional Windows updates. I removed all the updates, but still get the error.

1. Boot into Safe mode and return to the previous restore point(s). 2. Provide more information, namely the WindowsUpdate.log 3. Run sfc tool http://blogs.technet.com/b/askcore/archive/2007/12/18/using-system-file-checker-sfc-to-fix-issues.aspx

Hi, Please try to perform a Clean Boot to narrow down and find the cause of this issue. For the detailed steps of how to perform a Clean Boot, please refer to the following Microsoft KB article: How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135 What’s the result in Clean Boot? If it works fine in Clean Boot, you may start the disabled programs and services one by one to find out the root cause.
