First message in event view we started to get was EVENT ID: 1053 Windows cannot determine the user or computer name. (There are no more endpoints available from the endpont mapper.) Group Policy processing aborted. I think it is due to port 49155 and 49159 being block but we cand not open up all these ports. Do we know for a fact that 2008 R2 needs these ports. Why would it work with 2003 and not 2008 DC. This area is ver restrictive and NOC doesn't want to open a full range of ports such as all Dynamic/Private : 49152 through 65535. Please help me build my case for NOC to open up these 2 ports. Thanks
