2008 R2 Application and services Event Log
I am running Server 2008 R2 Ent.
I noticed that there are no events under "Application and services" logs. All even's are blanked. I have checked to make sure the services are in fact running, cleared the log's on each event and still nothing is being logged. I know that there should be
events in there but nothing is showing up/being recorded.
HELP!

Hello,
I would qualify that as normal (It is the same thing for me) as there is no events to record. Browse logs and you should find some logged events (Even that you don't find then this does not mean that you have a problem).

1. May be filter enabled, right click & remove filters f any.
2. May be some corruption in Registry ( cross-check HKLM\SYSTEM\CURRENT Control Set\Services\Eventlog settings with another working system )
