2008R2 Web server event Error 11 Disk
I have 2 HP DL360G7s 2008R2 Web edition I am getting the followinf error on both servers The error is basically the same but the description can change Log Name: System Source: Disk Date: 1/24/2011 4:13:02 PM Event ID: 11 Task Category: None Level: Error Keywords: Classic User: N/A Computer: Skywalker Description: The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Harddisk1\DR3. I ran an Array diag that HP looked at and said all firmware and drivers are up to date. They say no problem

As both servers are affected, you should ask HP on this. There were issues like this from time to time which the vendors (HP) fixes by firmware & driver updates for the (Smartarray) Controller. BUT, it is possible that you've got simply failing harddrives. (Maybe you run the servers in an "not supported" enviroment. Iirc the max enviroment temperature for HP Proliant servers is 30°C.
