2003 Server (not R2) x32 domain, adding 2008 R2 DC to domain?
I need to add a 2008 R2 server to the domain as a second DC, there are multiple articles that explain how to download a 32 bit R2 update for 2003, since the 2008 R2 media doesn't come with a 32 bit version.
Can anyone point me to any reasonable links on the detailed process to do this.
I know where to download the 32 bit R2 update for 2003 - MS will provide them.
I'm more interested in the step-by-step process.
Thanks

Hi,
Windows Server 2008 R2 includes a 32-bit and 64-bit version of Adprep.exe. The 64-bit version runs by default. If you want
to run one of the Adprep.exe commands on a 32-bit computer, use the 32-bit version of Adprep.exe (Adprep32.exe).

Hello,
on the Windows server 2008 R2 disk you have 2 adprep versions, adpre32.exe and adprep.exe, the latter is the 64bit version.
