Hello guys,

I've installed WSUS quite a few times before without any errors, but this time in particular I am getting the following error (shown below in Bold).
The case was that I already had WSUS installed on the server and I removed it along with the database files and only the content folder was left. when i tried to reinstall the WSUS, i got this error.

I appreciate your help guys :)

Also note that I tried the solution available in the following link but it didn't resolve the problem :(

Could you please post the WSUSSetup.log here for troubleshooting, is located in the %temp% directory.

Out of curiosity, why are you installing 3.0 SP1? SP2 is available

What version of OS are you using, and what type of DB?

Yeah I tried to install both but the same error is displayed in both situations :(

OS: Windows Server 2003 SP2 Enterprise Edition

DB : Windows Internal Database

It's showing that's it's trying to re-create users, and so safe to assume that there is an old failed copy of the DB there as well. This wiki covers, how to clean up the old (failed) database files
