'Making' an installation CD from DVD?
My lab server doesn't have a DVD in it - does anyone know how to break up the Longhorn DVD into regular CDs?

Dear Sandy Wood, There is another solution for your problem after download Longhorn server in .ISO extension you run it using any virual CD and copy DVD content in ur Harddisk and run installation under windows.

OR you could do try this, though it will probably take a little time. If you download and install the Windows Automated Installation Kit (WAIK), it contains WinPE. Follow the directions to make a WinPE iso that you can burn to disc, burn it, fire up the disc and boot WinPE. Map to a network drive that has the Longhorn DVD install files and then run Setup.exe. from there. That's how I installed it on my server that only has a scsi cd-rom/floppy combo drive. I suppose you could also use BartPE or any other boot disc that gives you network support.
