Hi,

Does EMS work fine?

Make sure you logon this server with Domain\Administrator account instead of LocalComputer\Administrator account.

We can create a new admin account and assign with the following group membership to have a try:

Domain Admins

Schema Admins

Enterprise Admins

Organization Management

Make sure all services are started and running. Collect any event logs for further help.

Also refer to the below link check your IIS setting .

I had successfully tested Exchange lab on my Virtual machine VMWare.  I have  Windows server 2013 R2 running on VMWare and my Exchange server is installed on Hyper-V.

After the installation and configuration of Exchnage i was facing issue with send and receive. Later on i recognized that my physical machine's gateway or the gateway which it is detecting might be a probe so I kept gateway entry null in IPv4 properties, that fixed the issue and messages were send and receive among AD users.

Here is my issue now, the very next day when I logged in to proceed further, I got issue with ECA, none of the Administrators logins(users) were able to access ECA and the reponse was Sorry! Access denied. I added existing Administrators to the following  Security Groups, but in vein.

 *Server Management

*Recipient Management

*Organizations Management

*Helpdesk

Then I created a new user and added it to all the above groups including domain admins and all. This user also get the same error. Even I can not login to OWA as well. I get error "an unexpected error occurred your request could not be handled".

What could be the reason(s) of this?

I have been researching and experimenting on this issue for a week now, Kindly suggest me a solution to fix it.

Thanks

Moahmmed

Hi David,

Unfortunately NO... When I try Get-Mailbox cmdlet commands in both it doesnt work. And in EMS it fails to detect my exchange server. I'm surprise, it was working fine and dont know what went wrong. i have setup ECA through Domain Administrator profile and was using the same to access ECA. It worked for couple of days and then screwed up.

Hi,

Are you seeing any related errors in the event viewer of the Exchange server?

Do you try to create a new admin account as above mentioned?

Have you make any changes recently?

David

Hello,

No errors in event viewer and as i mentioned earlier that i have created new admin account and added it to the above groups but the new admin account also has the same issue. There were no changes made from  my end. When I try to access EMS it says failed. It does not detect my exchange server now.

Thanks

Mohammed

Hello Satyajit

There are no errors in eventviewer, what i think is that there is something wrong with powershell or EMS. As I can not check the mailboxes and also EMS is not detecting my exchange server. Get-Mailbox cmdlets are not at all responsive in powershell. I get an error as not recognized.
