“I have two entries with the exact same name” when there is a comma in the Display Name

I have an odd issue with Auto Attendant in Unified Messaging.

Whenever you say a name to the auto attendant it repeats back I have two entries with the exact same name for every user. We are using the attribute (msDS-PhoneticName) because we have the display name as Lastname, Firstname so we wanted it to speak more naturally.

What I have found is the comma in the Display Name is causing the issue even though it should just be reading the msDS-PhoneticName. When I remove the comma out of the Display name it only finds one result and dials.

Any insights to why this would happen or is it possibly a bug in Exchange UM?
