work with public folder management console very slow
We have one Exchange 2007 Sp2 RU4 Mailbox server. This Server has only one SG with one public folder DB. Approximately 53000 folders - with 600 GB all-over size. Mailboxes and other roles are distributed to other exchange 2007 servers. I logon on to the public folder server, open Exchange management console, open the public folder management console and when I click on the default public folders (left pane) it takes approx. 30 seconds until I see the root folders in the right pane. Now I want to access the properties of a folder (regardless if it is a root or a sub folder). The new window opens but without any informations in it. I have to wait approx. 45 seconds up to 1 minute. Well, my next step would be to start up Perfmon and see if I can find the performance bottleneck. -- Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems." . Ed, excuse my late response... I which perfomance counters shall I use? At least I don't think that it is a bottelneck. All apps as well as server access are very fast. Regards Stauder100
