word 2013 keeps going back to page one.

Hello,

Every time after I minimize Word 2013, the document jumps back to page 1.

This is incredibly frustrating as I work with few documents at the same time.

Any one knows how to fix it?

Thanks.

While I cannot replicate the issue, try using SHIFT+F5 when you restore the Word window.

Thanks for your reply, but shift+F5 does nothing.
Not sure what it was meant to do.

Hi Expired,

This is an  unusual behavior in the Word, I suppose this problem might be caused by formatting, options, or settings. Based on your description >>This is incredibly frustrating as I work with few documents at the same time.<<, this problem occurs in multiple documents, I recommend that you try to reset Microsoft Word to the program's default settings.

I didn't reproduce your issue, I'm not sure which setting of Word caused your problem. Please try refer to this KB article about how to reset user options and registry settings in Word:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/822005

Important Follow the steps in this section carefully. Serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Before you modify it, back up the registry for restoration in case problems occur.
Please refer to this article about how to back up and restore the registry in Windows:

Any updates please let me know, I'm glad to help and follow up your reply.
