I upgraded windows from 7 to 10 few days ago, everything was fine until today when I try to paste some content from internet to word 2010, previously it was working fine even with window10 but now it is not responding at all, please tell me what to do?

Did you get any error messages when you try to open Word file? Did this issue only appear in Word?

As far as I know, some other users get different issues in Office after upgrading to Windows 10.

I suggest you try to repair Office in Windows, and check if it works for you.
