Hi, As Exchange 2010 rely on Windos 2008 R2 or SP2 with x64 bit, you must have to migrate Exchange 2003 first and the can migrate windows 2008 R2 for domain controller. Please go thru below Thred for more detail. http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/winserverMigration/thread/dab33e51-25f4-476c-b173-7e65ee253373 http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb691354.aspx http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd365353(WS.10).aspxAnil

If yes, it can’t be accomplished The resources below can provide more help: System Requirements for Exchange Server 2003 Exchange Server and Windows Server 2008 Exchange Server and Windows Server 2008, Part II Mission Impossible: In-Place Upgrading Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 from Windows Server 2003 to Windows Server 2008James Luo TechNet Subscriber Support (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/subscriptions/ms788697.aspx) If you have any feedback on our support, please contact tngfb@microsoft.com

Hi All, Thanks to All I have migrated windows 2003 std 32 bit to windows 2008 std 64 bit in exchange server 2003 env. I have one doubt .In exchange server 2003 i have changed RUS windows domain controller to new server after that i have restarted the exchange services. Now everthing working fine. But in exchange server 2003 server properties > Dsaccess tab all the entries are exchange server name not a windows 2008 server (DC).Before also it was like that only.Is that create any problem This is my setup domain -inland.ae windows 2003 std edition(32 bit)-Server name -BMWDC(Global catalog server) Exchange server 2003std edition-Server name- BMWDXB(Global catalog server) windows 2008 std editon 2008-Server name-AgmDC(Global catalog server) I have migrated to windows 2003 to windows 2008 after that i have changed RUS windows domain contoller option to new server(windows 2008 server (Agmdc)) after that i have restarted exchange services. now my environment windows 2008server DC+GC windows 2003 server ADC+GC Exchange 2003 GC My question is -In exchange server 2003 Dsaccess properties my domain contoller , Global catalog , All domain controller are exchange server name.Is that will create any problem? Thanks to all of them
