why doesn't my Blocked Senders list work?

Please see above - this mail arrived in my Inbox - as you can see the sender address is in my Blocked Senders list.

This is just one example - the Blocked Senders list does not work for any of the addresses in it - they all hit my inbox and not my Junk Folder.

Am I missing something?

Try to check your Safe senders. If You assign te same address (or domein) to both lists, then mechnaizm doesn't work.

I just found this on the Microsoft website.

When you add a sender's e-mail address to the Blocked Senders list in Outlook 2010, you may still receive e-mail messages from that sender in your Inbox folder. Back to the top

CAUSE You have more than one e-mail account delivering email to your Personal Folders...

You have more than one e-mail account delivering email to your Personal Folders (.PST) file. The Junk E-mail Settings, including Blocked Senders and Safe Senders lists, are specific to one e-mail account or service. When you block a sender's email address, it is only added to the Blocked Senders list for the default email account configured in the Account Settings dialog. The Blocked Senders lists for other accounts are not updated with the same email address. Back to the top

WORKAROUND To work around this issue, switch the default account in the AccountSettings dia...

To work around this issue, switch the default account in the AccountSettings dialog to the other account, and then block the same sender. This will add the sender's e-mail address to this specific account. To change the default account in the AccountSettings dialog and block the same sender, follow these steps:
  1. In Outlook 2010, click File, and then click Account Settings in the Info tab.
  2. Click to select the other e-mail account in the E-mail tab of the Account Settings dialog.
  3. Click Set as Default, and then click Close.
  4. Click the Home tab.
  5. Click Junk, and then click Junk E-mail Options. Notice the title bar of the dialog has the name of the e-mail account that is currently being configured.
  6. Add any senders to the Blocked Senders list or the Safe Senders list.
  7. Click OK.
  8. Switch your original account back to default by following steps 1 to 3 above.

This is Pure BS on MS's part, I do not want a Workaround, I want a Fix... I have 4 accounts coming into the same PST. I have no time nor the desire to do this 4 times. Besides the fact that you sell our contact list to everyone and their mother we now have to work 4 times as hard to get rid of SPAM email?

No wonder people hate your guts, you are just like every other Giant Company out there stealing money from people and calling it legal business ways. Perhaps this is why so many people Pirate your products? have you ever think of that?

Greedy Bastards.

RC90 - apart from that your answer is rude (so it should not take place in this form) it is also really, really true to the bone. I feel the same about this kind of really bad design things.
