Hi All, I just would like to ask opinion from all of you, of what should and can be installed on EDGE transport Server ? I've just bought Dell x64 bit server and about to install it with Exchange Server Edge transport role, but it seems that its a waste of money just to make it more useful ? what about ISA Server 2006 ? can I install it on the same machine as ISA Server as well ? I'm looking forward for the reply. Thanks

Hi, ISA Server is not supported, and will not install or run on x64 Windows. The next version is planning to fill that gap. Leif

yes, that's what I'm currently thinking so far.I'm about to deploy ISA server 2006 to secure the access through the net but if it needs another machine to run ISA server, then there will be too many system to be managed. Some people suggested me to deploy 3-leg perimeter.well, is there any other application that can be run in that server rather than just let it stay idle when there is not much email traffic ? any kind of response would be appreciated.Thanks for the reply
