HI all, Exchange 2003 and outlook 2010 windows 7 I have one client which they use Eastern Time Zone but " automatically update" was checked and time changed. So, we uncheck the Automatically adjust clock for DST" on the Exchange 2003 server and client windows 7 PC. But, client sends email and still shows 1 hour ahead of his PC time. even his PC shows right time. They are located in island which use eastern time but " uncheck the Automatically adjust clock for DST" for their time settings. So, how would I correct his time settings? why does outlook uses different time than his PC time when client send/receive emails? Thank you.

Outlook has always had a separate time zone setting. I only have OL2007 in front of me today, but OL2010 will be similar (if we're lucky). Have a look for Tools/Options/Preferences/Calendar Options/Time Zone .Mobile OWA For Smartphone www.leederbyshire.com email a@t leederbyshire d.0.t c.0.m

Hi Lee, I am going to check. They use US eastern time with "Automatically adjust clock for DST" unchecked. How should I deal with it if they use Eastern time zone in calendar option ? In outlook, Can I uncheck "Automatically adjust clock for DST" in outlook as PC time control settings? Thank you.

Like I say, I only have OL2007 today. But, assuming you did find the dialog box where you can select the time zone, is there a checkbox that says 'Adjust for daylight saving time'?Mobile OWA For Smartphone www.leederbyshire.com email a@t leederbyshire d.0.t c.0.m

Hi Lee, Found out one PC with outlook 2007 and I unchecked "'Adjust for daylight saving time', this users calendar is off one hour or two hours. If I click 'Adjust for daylight saving time' in outlook 2007, it changes PC windows time too and 'Adjust for daylight saving time' is checked in the Windows too. How should I deal with this issue When users have time zone Eastern with "Automatically adjust clock for DST" unchecked? Thank you for your help.

How about if they send an email using Outlook Web Access? If the location is one where the DST rules have changed recently, maybe you're missing an update?Mobile OWA For Smartphone www.leederbyshire.com email a@t leederbyshire d.0.t c.0.m
