unable to continue office 2013 installation

Hi,

I purchase the office 365 for 5 users. i downloaded from office/myaccount and downloaded successfully. then continue to installation. the process was going until final installation then stop. i leave it to continue until the whole night but still uncompleted. so i restarted the pc. Office shortcuts (word, excel, outlook, etc) are available in the desktop but if i double click, error message "Something went wrong - We're sorry, but we ran into error and couldn't start your program. Please try starting your program again, or use the Repair option from the Program and Features item in your Control Panel if it still won't start" come up. 

thinking to reinstall, but after click the setup file, error message "Couldn't start office installation - We're sorry, but we could not start your Office installation. Another installation is in progress. Please try again later. Error Code: 0-1018(0)".

Then i borrow office 2013 cd installation from my friend. but after click autorun. nothing happen.

Please help.

FYI, I use:
Proc : Pentium B960 @ 2.2GHz
RAM : 6 GB
OS : windows 8 pro 64-bit

Hi farchan,

Based on your description, you cant to install Office successfully. Office shortcuts (word, excel, outlook, etc.) are available in the desktop, but you cant startup these programs.

First, please go to Control Panel, click on Microsoft Office 2013 or Microsoft Office 365 and click on Change. Depending on your version of Office installed, you should either see an option called Repair or Online Repair. If you have Office 365, youll see Online Repair and then the Repair option.

If you cant repair Office, you can try to download the Office 2013 uninstall tool from Microsoft Fix it.

Or you can try to manually uninstall Office, please refer to this link:

Then you can try to reinstall the office.
