When I log into webmail and try to add an attachment to an email once I click the paperclip icon nothing happens, however if I log into the webmail Lite version it works fine. I have checked pop up blocker and this is not on, disabled AV software, uninstalled IE and re-installed also re-installed Silverlight but the issue persists. I have tested on another computer and everything is ok.

I am now stuck at what could be causing this, I have also added the URL to trusted sites and ran windows update until its fully up to date. tested in another browser "google chrome" and it is the same issue there.

Try a different browser, like Chrome or Firefox.  If it works with those, then you have something wrong with IE or with your configuration.

By your state, Exchange server and IE is well.(other client IE), so we locked the issue on this client, we could refer to the following steps to clean boot on this client to check if the issue persist:

Notice: when we clean, we should restart the client. In addition, when the issue was solved, we should reset the computer to start normally.
