unable to add a new exchange 2010 to existing infrastructure
Before i had a exchange 2010 with mailbox role But i completely delete if (i've in VirtualMachine), and i setup a new one, with a different one, and put this new one with different hostname than the previous I want to install as normal, only with the MailBox role, but i failed, even i delete the computer name from AD, also from ADSIedit, i still fail to install the exchange to this one new server. What i'm missing? where i'm wrong? i tried the "setup /prepareAD" and it worked fine. but i fail again with "Setup /prepareSchem" let me know, because i'm in troubleLasandro

Lasandro, did you run the /preparead command against production or test? There are manual steps you can take in something like AdsiEdit, ADUC or LDP to manually remove Exchange from the domain, but it would be wise to get a bit more information from you first. Simply removing the virtual machine won't remove the primary configuration for Exchange from the domain. You only need to extend the schema once, so there's no value in running it again. Another prudent question is, do you have an existing Exchange installation in the same domain as where you tried to re-install Exchange 2010? Cheers, Lain
