Hi, I cant activate Office 2016 Preview. I upgraded from Office 2010 and this version keeps saying I cant activate it but its the same account I have here so I'm not sure why its not activating? I cant preview/test it if I cant activate it.

Hi,

If you purchased Office 2010 and now need to upgrade to Office 2013, you can't use the account to activate Office 2010 to activate Office 2013 directly, you need to purchase Office 2013 separately as well.

So as this is a preview/trial/test I cant activate it?

Then why am I bothering to test it if I have to buy an older version?

I dont have to buy Windows 8 to use the preview of Windows 10 so why do I have to buy Office 2013 to preview Office 2016?
