the size of Mailbox folders on two clustered EX 2007 servers doesn't match?
Dears,
We installed exchange 2007 on clustered Mailbox servers using Windows cluster failover feature that comes with Windows 2008 before 5 months ago.
Today, I have checked Hard disk (let’s say Drive E :) on both mailbox servers where mailbox data have been stored, I found both Mailbox folders on both servers have different
size (the deference is 55 GB) ,any idea about this difference, do they (Mailbox folder on both server) have to be the same size?.
BTW. The Mailbox size around 600 GB one server , 545 on the other one.
thanks

Yes, if you are using CCR then database size should be same in size on both node. Here you did not mentioned that what is content stored in drive E, Is it Databse drive or having other content also.
You can use "Tree Size" to check folder/file size in both node and respond us.

I havent seen a difference that large, but from my experience, the sizes do not always match between copies of the edbs. ( You are referring to the edb sizes yes?)

edb sizes are almost the same, but the sizes of the whole Mailbox folders are not the same, the deference is
55 GB.
