technet evaluation office 2013

I am unable to access the trial product key when downloading office 2013 60 day trial.

tried multiple times, either using email address for account as when registered - simply returns error as detailed - non valid etc.

tried setting up using variations of same account, again no go.

emailed TechNet - considering using a donkey and a local peasant, as the response time, might be more proactive.

I have attempted using the live webchat - relayed issue, and the person viewing and replying, simply passed the buck and gave me a premium telephone number to call. 

in short, I have downloaded the trial, but unless I find some way to activate it correctly, for the trial to begin, it simply is a waste of time. is there not some person, or tech guy who can produce or demonstrate a method to generate a product key as the account activation, does not work.

if I try activating using the office download system - "activate link" it simply returns "Error: 'Timeout expired.  The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding.'

Hi,

If you downloaded the trial version from TechNet Evaluation Center, you should receive a product key to activate the product.

First you need to sign in with your Microsoft Account, register to continue.

After you select the language to download, you should see the product key like below:



This is where the product key is and you should use it to activate the product you download. If you didn't take the product key down, you need to redo this process to get the key.
