task view

I like to add new task folders and share these with my college's.

However when i open the main task list I only see my own added tasks. And not those task my college's added.

When i wanted to see those shared tasks I have to open the specified task folder.

How do I get a total view?

thx for your reply

Hi Eduard,

By "the main task list", do you mean the task folder of your default mailbox in your Outlook? Tasks that created in different task folders can only be viewed in it's own task list.

If you want to combine multiple Outlook Task Folders into one view, we can actually achieve this by creating a custom To-Do list view that shows only tasks:

  1. Click on the row of field names
  2. Choose "View Settings..." from the bottom of the menu. Click the "Filter" button
  3. Switch to the "Advanced" tab
  4. Type "Message class" in the field, leave "contains" as the Condition, type "task" in the Value field.
  5. Save the view

Hope this helps.

It almost works! Thx

We do see all tasks in one view. Except the tasks which my colleage add.

So I shared a task folder with several colleage's. I see only my own tasks which I entered in this folder. So I don't see the taks which they make. Everybody has got the same owner rights.

Thanx for your reply.
