system mailbox not logging off
We have five Exchange2003 servers win2003 sp2 , on 3 of them the system account logs onto every mailbox overnight , everynight and does not log off , the only change is made when a user logs into the mailbox the last login and logoff reflect the users info. It is not happening on the other two. I am uncertain where to start looking for a solution , all I can say is that the servers in question have recently had MS updates applied

Hi, You may set a maintenance interval every night. The antivirus software or backup application can trigger a event that NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM logged on to your users mailboxes. Thanks for your reply Elvis - we have tracked the problem back to a patch http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/exchangesvrgeneral/thread/3686334d-399c-4572-bbd0-cd6e23ec2a64Have you or anyone else out there had this?
