sysprep image not working correctly
Iam trying to create a syspreped image of workstation windows server 2003 enterprise sp2 (upgraded using CDfrom server 2003 standard). I am using a VMWare VM as the base for the image. I am using the command "sysprep -reseal -mini -quiet" to sysprep the VM and it appears to sysprep correctly.When I try and restore the image on any computer sysprep does not rename the computer or auto login.Here is my sysprep file: ;SetupMgrTag[Unattended] OemSkipEula=Yes InstallFilesPath=C:\sysprep\i386 DriverSigningPolicy=Ignore UpdateInstalledDrivers=Yes UpdateHAL=ACPIAPIC_MP,%WINDIR%\Inf\Hal.inf TargetPath=\WINDOWS [GuiUnattended] AdminPassword="password" EncryptedAdminPassword=NO AutoLogon=Yes AutoLogonCount=3 TimeZone=20 OemSkipWelcome=1 OEMSkipRegional=1 [UserData] ProductKey=xxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxx FullName="group" OrgName="password" ComputerName=* [LicenseFilePrintData] AutoMode=PerServer AutoUsers=5 [TapiLocation] CountryCode=1 AreaCode=214 LongDistanceAccess="9" [Identification] JoinWorkgroup=MLP [Networking] InstallDefaultComponents=Yes [SysprepMassStorage] PCI\VEN_103C&DEV_3230&SUBSYS_323E103C=C:\DRIVERS\MASS\P400\hpcissx2.inf PCI\VEN_103C&DEV_3230&SUBSYS_3223103C=C:\DRIVERS\MASS\P400\hpcissx2.inf PCI\VEN_103C&DEV_3230&SUBSYS_323D103C=C:\DRIVERS\MASS\P400\hpcissx2.inf PCI\VEN_103C&DEV_3220&SUBSYS_3225103C=C:\DRIVERS\MASS\P400\hpcissx2.inf PCI\VEN_103C&DEV_3230&SUBSYS_3234103C=C:\DRIVERS\MASS\P400\hpcissx2.inf PCI\VEN_103C&DEV_3230&SUBSYS_3235103C=C:\DRIVERS\MASS\P400\hpcissx2.inf PCI\VEN_103C&DEV_3230&SUBSYS_3237103C=C:\DRIVERS\MASS\P400\hpcissx2.inf PCI\VEN_103C&DEV_3238&SUBSYS_3212103C=C:\DRIVERS\MASS\P400\hpcissx2.inf PCI\VEN_103C&DEV_3238&SUBSYS_3211103C=C:\DRIVERS\MASS\P400\hpcissx2.inf PCI\VEN_103C&DEV_3232&SUBSYS_40A00E11=C:\DRIVERS\MASS\P400\hpcissx2.inf PCI\VEN_1000&DEV_0050=C:\DRIVERS\MASS\LSI\lsi_sas.inf PCI\VEN_1000&DEV_0054=C:\DRIVERS\MASS\LSI\lsi_sas.inf PCI\VEN_1000&DEV_0058=C:\DRIVERS\MASS\LSI\lsi_sas.inf PCI\VEN_1000&DEV_005E=C:\DRIVERS\MASS\LSI\lsi_sas.inf PCI\VEN_1000&DEV_0056=C:\DRIVERS\MASS\LSI\lsi_sas.inf PCI\VEN_1000&DEV_005A=C:\DRIVERS\MASS\LSI\lsi_sas.inf PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_27C3&SUBSYS_3206103C=C:\DRIVERS\MASS\cp007490\adpahci.inf PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2682&SUBSYS_31FE103C=C:\DRIVERS\MASS\cp007490\adpahci.inf [Branding] BrandIEUsingUnattended=Yes [Proxy] Proxy_Enable=0 Use_Same_Proxy=0 [RegionalSettings] LanguageGroup=1 Language=00000409

Hi, Have you solved this? I have exact the same problem, also a windows 2003 standard edition server on vmware and upgraded it to the enterprise edition. After sysprep the autologon and computer rename will not work. It did work before the upgrade to enterprise edition. Please let me know a sollution at m_elderson @ hotmail.com Thanx in advance!
