Hello, I am looking for strategies on the best method of deploying specific sofware upgrades to all of our user workstations (acrobat reader upgrade, java upgrade, office compatibility pack, etc.). The ideal method would be to use System Management Server (SMS), but we do not currently have this option. can anyone offer any advice for deploying thissoftware on larger scale ?

Is it possible (or recommended) to use Group Policies ( through .zap or .msi) to install software such as Reader, or Java updates ?
