So the external application sends an email on behalf of the user to another user inside the Exchange org correct? What is the configuration of your recieve connector on the Exchange server. Can you do a get-receiveconnector <name of receive connector used> | fl and post the output?Chris Morgan

Hi, By default, the Anonymous user doesn't have the permission of the send on behalf internal users. Thus, you should add this permission to the Anonymous user. I suggest you create a separate Receive Connector which is response for receiving the mail from the Intuit Online application. Then add the following permission: Get-ReceiveConnector "Intuit connector" | Add-ADPermission -User "NT AUTHORITY\ANONYMOUS LOGON" -ExtendedRights " Ms-Exch-SMTP-Accept-Authoritative-Domain-Sender" Note: You should point the IP of the Intuit Online application in the Remote IP. found the solution; we use Hexamail to protect the Exchange 2007 server; I modified the SMTP settings to allow traffic from the Intuit servers
