show disabled mailboxes in exchange 2007
What is the cmdlet to show the disabled mailboxes using the powershell? Within the GUII only see 9 disconnected mailboxes and i know there is at least 70 - have disabled these mailboxes 2 days ago. Also i know i should be able to run the clean-mailboxdatabase to get these mailboxes to show in the GUI, but it asks for an identity - which i'm not sure what the powershell is asking for. Any help would be appreciated.

Clean-MailboxDatabase is asking the identity of mailbox database from where you have deleted the mailboxes... Referbelowarticle... BTW, below cmdlet shows you all the disconnected mailboxes of the server however it would be same as shown in EMC since it uses internally same cmdlet... Get-MailboxStatistics -Server "ServerName" | where{$_.DisconnectDate -ne $Null} Amit Tank | MVP Exchange Server | MCITP: EMA | MCSA: M | http://ExchangeShare.WordPress.com

Also the mailboxes which got disbaled without being logged into them or without sending any email to them, wont show in Disconnected Mailbox list in Exchange. So were are these disable mailboxes (ones which never got logged on or email sent to them)? Can i recover them down the road, i do see these people in a list when i go to add a new mailbox. Objective, not to have to re-add 70+ users mailboxes when we decide to bring this other domain onto the exchange. Thanks

Hi, Mailboxes that have never been logged on to or sent an email have noInformation Storeobject. Therefore, these mailboxes are not detected in Disconnected Mailbox list. I think you cannot recover them without some third party application. I dont know about any such application, may be some other guy on this forum knows.
