set access permissions for Public Folders
Dear all,we have one public folder server called A where all other ESX-Servers (B, C, D, ....) associated the public folder tree...so all replica from the public folders stores on B, C, D and so on are on the Public Folder Server A also...Now for our Exchange Admins its possible to give users permissions for the roles Owner, Publishing Editor, Editor and so on on Public Folders and its subfolders with ESM...(right click the Public Folder - All Task - Manage Settings" on Server A...so far so good...now its possible to give another users rights for this under ESM?...its enough to give the user "delegate control - exchange view only administrator"for example on Server Band then under the Public Folder - right click - properties - permissions - administrative rights" the right modify public folder ACL on Server A?thx in advance

No you don't have to give permission on all PF serversseparately, anyone would be fine to have access. Moreover you can use PFDavAdmin to manage permission recursively (from root folder to all subfolders) on public folders. Hi Amit,we have only one PF-Server called A...all other Mailservers (for example B)have also a public-folder store but the public folders are associated with Server A...and the users will use the ESM...so we must set a permissions on server B (for example) exchange view only administrator and then the other things?...is this enough?...because the users will also set new users for owner or editor...richardA --- root folder b --- subfolder c ---subfolder ---> here we must set the rights for the users and all subfolders with ESM
