Hi,Actually the correct way to create mail enabled distribution group is, use Exchange Management Console or Exchange Management Shell. These are Exchange aware tools so when you create DG, Exchange related attributes will be stamped correctly on the DG object. How to Create a New Distribution Grouphttp://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa998301.aspxWhen you create DG in EMC/EMS, it doesn't create a mailbox it is just a logical bucket to add various mailboxes, other distribution groups or contacts. If you create DG in AD with Remote Management tools, you need to make it mail enabled in EMC/EMS to use it properly. How to Mail-Enable a Distribution Grouphttp://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa997448.aspxAmit Tank | MVP - Exchange | MCITP:EMA MCSA:M | http://ExchangeShare.WordPress.com
