send as permissions
i have two users that needed a email account setup they both could send emails from. I created the emails and set both users to have send as permissions plus full access permissions to open mail also. After all that they are still not able to send emails from the create email account.

Hi, Can you provide the error message? Also, depending on how long you set the permissions and try to send the email does make a difference as Exchange and AD will require to be updated.

Hi , Please test on OWA . New messageclick Optionscheck Show Fromchange From Filed If the it cant be sent on OWA. Please check the send as permission for account. Get-ADPermission Identity user1 -User user2 |fl Check if the Access Rights is ExtendedRight If no, please try adding ADPermission use EMS. This is the message the user is receiving You can't send a message on behalf of this user unless you have permission to do so. Please make sure you're sending on behalf of the correct sender, or request the necessary permission. If the problem continues, please contact your helpdesk.

i had the user send from owa and i was able to receive the test email. I had her try again from a desktop version still received the same error.

We found out why the user had issues sending. Turns out that when they enter the email address in the from box that is was turning to black lettering. We had deleted an account they used to send out of simliar to what they are using. So when they entered the address outlook was still thinking it was associated with that deleted account.
