send as another e-mail account which is in the same mailbox
Hello, let us say that my reply address is aaa@domain.com but I also have another e-mail address aaa@domain2.com which is part of the same mailbox. By default exchange will always use aaa@domain.com however I would like to occasionaly send e-mails by using aaa@domain2.com, will creating an smtp account in Outlook for this e-mail make it possible to send e-mails only and not for receiving. Also would it work from OWA. I do not want to have 2 mailboxes if the above is possible Thanks

Hi Exchange only have one primary emailaddress, that's the one that will "send" mails out The other one's you can receive with If you want to send with the other address, either put it as primary address or create a new mailbox with the correct addressJonas Andersson MCTS: Microsoft Exchange Server 2007/2010 | MCITP: EMA 2007/2010 | MCSE/MCSA Blog: http://www.testlabs.se/blog
