I used early Visio 2010 and searching of stencils worked good, but it doesn't work in Visio 2013. Why?



how i can search by Stencils?

when i switch to Stencils - there is no search option.

Hi Anahaym,

According to your description, you seems want to search the New Office Visio Stencil that downloaded from Microsoft website.

If we want to search the stencils, we might import the downloaded stencils to this path:C:\Users\username\Documents\My Shapes first. Then we can search them with key words.

As far as I know, the search function of Office is based on the index of Windows Search, thus, I recommend we try to  kick off a complete rebuild of the index under the Advanced button of the Indexing options.

i did it 3,5 hours ago - unfortunately doesn't helped

i added old stencils, then delete their. and now search show me results from deleted stencils, but still nothing from other stencils:

Did you download/install the trial version from TechNet Evaluation center I suggest we install the latest updates and check if it is helpful.

yes, i did from TechNet Evaluation center.

My version is 15.0.4569.1506.

On my PC i use Office 365, that activated by Office 365 subscription.

Visio isn't activated, because i cannot enter Key - in Visio i'm logged on as Office 365 user.

You would get a trial key from TechNet Evaluation center, try to activate it via this key and install the updates. :)

i logged out from Office 365,  removed old key and ran Visio, then it configured by self and add some key, that aready expired.

but today (before logged out from Office 365) i still had 9 trial days!
